What are the client operating systems supported with ELLIOTT?
A.
The following are supported systems:
Windows
XP (all versions)
Windows Vista (all versions)
Windows 7 (all versions)
Special note regarding Windows Vista and Windows 7
In order to run Windows Vista and Windows 7, you will need the Pervasive
P.SQL 11 Database Engine which is supported by the latest version of Elliott.
In addition, Windows Vista dropped support of the Windows Help Program
(WinHlp32.exe) which is used by Elliott to provide context sensitive help.
Microsoft Windows Vista users can download a copy of WinHlp32.exe from
the Microsoft website to resolve this issue.
Q. What server
operating systems are supported with ELLIOTT?
A. The following are supported server platforms:
Windows 2003 Server (32 bit & 64 bit)
Windows 2008 Server (32 bit & 64 bit)
Windows 2012 Server (32 bit & 64 bit)
Windows 2011 Small Business Server (32 bit & 64 bit)
In addition, Elliott supports peer-to-peer network environments using
PSQL Workgroup Engine.
Q.
What database file handlers are supported with ELLIOTT?
A. ELLIOTT Business Software supports P.SQL 2000, v8, v9, v10, and v11.
P.SQL v10 and v11 are only supported with the latest version of Elliott.
Q. Can ELLIOTT Business Software run on both a 32 and 64 bit environment?
A .YES, ELLIOTT Business Software supports both 32-bit and 64 bit environments.

What are maintenance fees?
A. Maintenance fees provide updates and upgrades to users. With our maintenance
plan users do not need to worry about upgrading ELLIOTT anymore.
Instead, users will always have the latest ELLIOTT Business Software technologies.
In addition, Elliott maintenance provides free technical phone support
and on-line support through the Elliott
Knowledge Base.
The maintenance fees are required for all ELLIOTT users and are renewable
on an annual basis.
Q. Do maintenance
fees include Technical Support Services?
A. Yes, free technical phone support service is included with Elliott
maintenance, but consulting support is not. To better understand the support
service provided with Elliott maintenance, refer to the Elliott
Maintenance Support Policy. You should also speak with your reseller
about the support plans they offer.
